Making the Film and HETV Industry open and inclusive to the widest possible new talent base is one of our key driving forces at Screen Manchester. This week we welcomed a group of Manchester residents eager to take part in Location Marshal Production training.
We leave no stone unturned when it comes to welcoming new entrants to explore all avenues of opportunity offered and location work provides fulfilling careers. Our cohort took part in training over two days based at Space Studios Manchester.
Industry professionals introduced our trainees to essential skills including radio training, call sheet familiarisation and location etiquette. We were delighted to be joined by one of our Screen Manchester sponsors Buddha Group who demonstrated equipment used on a Location shoot.
Getting some real life experience was the order of the day for our group! This training, as always, was made possible by Screen Manchester and their Screen Alliance North funding supported by BFI Lottery funding. We now look forward to placing them on Productions filming across the City.
