At Screen Manchester we are focused on securing the best first steps and best training to guide our trainees into careers in the Film and TV Industry.
Still more important to us is continuing to support their development as they prepare to “step up” into other more advanced roles.
Last year we introduced you to Eve Kelly who began her hands on, on set training in the Sound Department at Waterloo Road. 18 months down the line we are delighted to share Eve’s career update here in a short diary clip she made for us.
We couldn’t be more delighted for Eve and we will continue to keep in touch with her and support her career as she moves forward in an Industry that has already responded so positively to her talent and adaptability both of which make her eminently employable and a valued team player.
The support we give at Screen Manchester to mid-level and established crew sits central to our agenda and we acknowledge through our approach to this how very important it is for crew to be properly trained and ready to ‘step up’ as Eve and several other of our trainees have done.
This training is all made possible with the support of Screen Alliance North and BFI with National Lottery Funding.
