Screen Manchester and Screen Alliance North with BFI support and National Lottery funding is delighted to invite interested crew in Manchester and across The North to a series of online workshops hosted by Sara Putt of Sara Putt Associates.
Sara has been an agent supporting crew in their careers since 1989 and will share her advice and knowledge in these key areas in the coming weeks:
- Does your CV need an update?
- Would you like to feel more confident about negotiating your contracts?
- What do employers expect in terms of training?
- Have you wondered whether an agent would benefit you?
- Is it something you need to consider yet or at all?
These hour-long sessions are specifically for crew already working in the industry and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and pick Sara’s brains during each session.

Sara is Chair of BAFTA where she has been a Trustee since 2014 and is also a Trustee of the Film and TV Charity and sits on the Advisory Board of the British Film Commission.
She was previously Deputy Chair of Women in Film and Television where she served on the Board for 8 years. Sara has also produced a number of short films including the BAFTA nominated “Tattoo”.
