Screen Manchester and Screen Alliance North are delighted to be partnering with The Production Guild of Great Britain offering support and places on the 2024 Step Up to Production Accountant Training Programme.
This will take place in Manchester from 18th to 22nd November from 9am – 5pm as part of Entertainment Partners’ commitment to supporting the film and television industry.
Screen Alliance North, with the support of BFI and National Lottery Funding will be providing bursary support for residents of the Greater Manchester region and the Liverpool City region. Bursary support can assist with costs such as travel, accommodation, kit and childcare.
Screen Alliance North’s Connected Opportunities enables crew from priority backgrounds to take up supported shadowing, coaching, learning and mentoring opportunities for those looking to step up and pursue career progression across the Screen Alliance North partnership.
This training scheme will build upon existing knowledge with newly acquired skills, and will cover the role of the Production Accountant in some detail exploring a number of key areas including insurance and taxation, VAT and tax relief, hiring inclusively and mental health awareness
The deadline for applications is 10am Tuesday 29th October 2024.
